Abstract: We present the results of five new Chandra grating observations of AGN, some of which were performed simultaneously with other missions such as RXTE, and HST. We discuss the origin and physics of the absorption and emission features and compare and contrast the properties of the AGN in the sample, from these new, and archival observations. In particular we discuss the implications of the features found in the soft X-ray band, and the origin of the iron K lines.
