Abstract: Although most of the universe is dark energy, and most of the matter in the universe is dark matter, the typical description of a galaxy, in either informal or formal educational settings, mentions only stars and gas. I describe a proposal to develop a set of museum exhibits on dark matter and dark energy that would serve as a toolkit for others in the EPO community. Preliminary ideas for exhibit components are presented, along with a framework for developing the exhibits rapidly though a collaboration of students, researchers, and informal science professionals. An important part of maximizing the impact of this proposal is to ascertain the need for such a toolkit.
