Abstract: We present a new generation of static models of sdB stars. The main improvements are the computations of complete structures instead of envelope structures with an inert central ball as used previously. Along with the inclusion of a realistic nucleus, we are now able to add the effects of nuclear burning and neutrinos energy depletion. As a first stride with these new models, we take a new look at the period structure of the EC14026 star PG 0014+067. Reassuringly, and as expected for a p-mode pulsator, we find essentially the same optimal model as that found previously on the basis of our earlier models. Interestingly, however, the mode identification is partially different. The most important impact of our new models is expected to be on the quantitative asteroseismology of Betsy stars since g-mode periods are sensitive to the details of the core structure.
