Abstract: WSO-UV is an international astronomical mission, currently under development by an international team led by Russia, with the Ground Segment under Spanish responsibility. The observatory is to be based on the T- 170M telescope, with a primary mirror diameter of 170 cm, a focal length of 1700 cm, and a field of view of 30′. One of the drivers for the ground segment systems, mainly the science planning facilities, is that the telescope will have the capability of being operated like a real-time observatory when conducting critical triggered science observations, even when there are onboard storage capabilities for routine operations.
