Abstract:	We calculate the XRT and AIA filter responses to emission for nonthermal electron kappa-distributions. The filter responses are in general wider and shifted to higher temperatures. This can affect temperature diagnostic during flares. We analyze the effect of nonthermal kappa-distributions on the resulting forward models of AR emission and show that their influence is small except for the extreme nonthermal cases.
