Abstract: Diffuse gamma-ray emission has been observed by the High Energy Stereoscopic System (HESS) in the Central Molecular Zone (CMZ) of the Galactic Center (GC). The best scenario to explain the observation is cosmic-ray (CR) collision with protons in the ambient gas. Currently, we are developing a new model of CR diffusion on the GC in order to predict observation with the Cherenkov Telescope Array (CTA).
