Abstract: We present a recent result from a working space-based interferometer, Fine Guidance Sensor 3 on Hubble Space Telescope. With this device we have determined a parallax for the white dwarf - M dwarf interacting binary, Feige 24. Our distance, with better than 10% precision, improves by a factor of three that determined by HIPPARCOS. The more precise distance will assist in constraining models of an astrophysically interesting, interacting binary (P = 4.2 days). It will allow a better determination of the physical properties of this particular hot DA white dwarf.
