As part of a large program aimed at searching for sufficient conditions leading to the onset of nuclear activity in galaxies, we have obtained near infrared data in the J and K' bands for 18 active and 11 non active spiral galaxies. We present the various methods of analysis used and illustrate the main results for one galaxy. |
