Abstract: The highlights of the polarimetric (since 1989) and photometric monitoring of AM Her based on nearly 300 nights of observations are reviewed: occasional drastic changes of the light curve even from one cycle to another; statistical dependence of the phase curve on luminosity, with a cease of the fast variability and polarization in the low state and a maximum of the flicker variabilty in the intermediate luminosity state; the phase curve variations interpreted by the non-linear 2D oscillations of the orientation of the magnetic axis of the white dwarf in respect to the secondary; the unprecedented UV Cet-type flare; statistical study of the "red noise" (flickering) and its colors; the nearly "fractal nature" of variability over 7.5 orders of magnitude of the time scale; the photometric ephemeris based on all available photometric (VR) minima: Min.HJD=2446637.0510(6)+0.12892711(3)E. The theoretical models of structure and variability, as well as new mathematical methods are briefly listed.
