Abstract: We present results on the measurements of the [O IV]λ25.88 μm and [S III]λ33.44 μm lines in a sample of starburst galaxies. We find that even though very few galaxies in our sample are classified as Wolf-Rayet stars, [O IV] is detected in most galaxies. Comparison of the data with models shows that the [O IV]/[S III] line ratio is mainly driven by light of stellar origin.
