| Abstract: |
The aim of the virtualization of the XMM-Newton Real Time System is to upgrade the Mission Control System, Satellite Control and Operation System 2000 (SCOS-2000) of the European Space Agency (ESA). We have upgraded the satellite data acquisition software and related Commercial Off-The-Shelf (COTS), to take advantage of the latest hardware equipments. The system has been virtualized to reduce future maintenance. |
