Abstract: The high-velocity compact cloud CO–0.26+0.02 was discovered at (l, b)=(–0.°26,+.°02) from its unusual CO J=3–2/J=1–0 intensity ratio. To inspect the distribution of the dense and shocked molecular gas in the vicinity of CO–0.26+0.02, we conducted observations in multiple emission lines, using the Nobeyama Radio Observatory 45 m telescope and the James Clerk Maxwell Telescope. From the obtained data, we found two more high-velocity components lined up northwest of CO–0.26+0.02. The position-velocity map of each clump shows V-shaped structure, which suggests a past plunging event of a massive compact object. Considering the similar dynamical timescales of these three clumps, the plunging object needs a very high speed (>100 km s–1).
