Abstract: Vorticity in the intergalactic space was induced in the course of the large scale structure formation of the universe. Vorticity then has led to turbulent flow motions. Using a high-resolution, cosmological N-body/hydrodynamic simulation, we quantify the spatial and temporal distributions of the vorticity. We then discuss the implications for the intergalactic turbulent motions.
