Abstract: In the present work we analyze multiwavelength observations from Hinode, SOHO, and STEREO of the early phases of a CME. We use EIS, UVCS, and XRT to measure the physical properties of the CME ejecta as a function of time at 1.1 and 1.9 Rsun. EUVI, COR 1, EIT, and LASCO images are used to measure the CME trajectory, velocity, and acceleration in 3D up to 5 Rsun. The diagnostic results are used to determine the energy budget of the CME plasma and the heating rate, and to compare it to theoretical predictions.
