Abstract: The GLOBE at Night program before, during and after the citizen science sky brightness monitoring campaign tries to convey the importance of what has been lost to light pollution as well as how light pollution affects various areas of life beyond astronomical research. It provides foundational resources that build toward participating in the GLOBE at Night campaign, teaches how to take part in the most successful citizen science light pollution monitoring campaign in the last five years and if interested, provides access to the data to look for changes and trends over time and with respect to other data sets. By offering ways to become more aware of light pollution issues, the program tries to convince people to take steps to help redress the issues and provides some tools on how to do so.
