Abstract: It is established that magnetic field and radiative transfer are governing the early phases of star formation, i.e. the collapse and fragmentation phases. We have developed a full radiation-magneto-hydrodynamics using the grey flux-limited diffusion approximation for the radiative transfer, and the ideal magneto-hydrodynamics approximation for the magnetic field. We present calculations of radiation-magneto-hydrodynamics of low-mass and massive dense core collapse and fragmentation using the solver we designed. We show that the interplay between magnetic field and radiative transfer is of primary importance for both low-mass and massive star formation.
