Paper: The dark matter content of disk galaxies

Abstract: The global structural properties and M/LI of disk galaxies are found to abruptly change at log LI of about 9.8 solar luminosities. The most plausible interpretation is that lower luminosity systems have a larger dark matter content than do higher luminosity systems. These observations are compared to the model of dwarf galaxy formation of Dekel and Silk.
