Abstract: |
We present the results of our project, that involved single pulse observations
of several pulsars, with a special aim of searching for low-frequency features
in their fluctuation spectra. The majority of our observations were performed
at the frequency of 8.35 GHz, using the 100-meter Effelsberg Radiotelescope.
In order to examine the pulse-to-pulse intensity modulations, we performed both the
longitude- and the harmonic-resolved fluctuation spectral analysis. In case of
one of the observed pulsars, PSR B1133+16, we found a strong evidence for an
amplitude-modulated low-frequency feature, coresponding to a period of ca.
30 pulsar rotational periods, which we believe to be the circulation period
of the underlying subbeam carousel model. |
