Abstract: Using the Westerbork Synthesis Radio Telescope (WSRT) at 328 MHz, we have performed the deepest search yet undertaken to detect millisecond radio bursts from neutron stars in the Andromeda galaxy (M31). This search has identified a number of tantalizing candidates, whose dispersion measures suggest that they may potentially originate in M31. Here we briefly describe the search and present two of the best candidates. A full description of the survey has been submitted elsewhere.
