Abstract: |
Citizen science encompasses the collection and analysis of data by non-professionals. Citizen science projects give individuals the opportunity to be a part of science. The spectrum of activities range from data collection, data analysis of pre-collected data, and preparation of scientific papers to present one's findings. This session's panelists represent a range of opportunities for citizens to participate in different projects, with an emphasis on using these projects for students to engage in scientific endeavors. |
